AIBE answer key
The Bar Council publishes a provisional key, invites objections, then publishes a final key. Marks are calculated from the final key, not the provisional one.
Where the dates come from
The Bar Council of India Trust announces registration, admit card and result dates on allindiabarexamination.com. We do not republish a date until it is on that site — a wrong deadline costs a candidate an attempt. This page explains the process; check the official notification for the day.
Raising an objection
- Objections are submitted through the official portal within a stated window, against a fee per question.
- The fee is ordinarily refunded where the objection is accepted.
- Cite authority. A bare assertion that an answer is wrong is dismissed. Give the section, the case, or the provision — that is the whole basis on which these are decided.
- An objection is decided for everyone. If a question is dropped or a key corrected, it applies to the entire cohort.
When a question is dropped
Marks are ordinarily redistributed, so a dropped question does not lower the effective total. The practical effect is that the 45 you need becomes slightly easier to reach, not harder.
Checking your own answers
Against the provisional key, count three numbers separately: correct, wrong, and blank. Blanks tell you about pace. Wrong answers in a subject you thought you knew tell you about the bare act you were using.
For the next attempt
Our explanations carry both code citations and a line telling you where to find the provision in the bare act — the part a key never gives you.
