AIBE 22 registration
AIBE XXII is on 29 November 2026. Registration opens some months before, on the Bar Council of India Trust's own portal. Everything below is the process; the dates and the fee are on the official site and change each cycle.
Where the dates come from
The Bar Council of India Trust announces registration, admit card and result dates on allindiabarexamination.com. We do not republish a date until it is on that site — a wrong deadline costs a candidate an attempt. This page explains the process; check the official notification for the day.
Who may apply
- You hold an LL.B. from a Bar Council of India recognised institution — three-year or five-year, it makes no difference.
- You are enrolled with a State Bar Council under Section 24 of the Advocates Act. Enrolment comes first; AIBE is taken after it.
- There is no age limit and no cap on the number of attempts.
- Final-year students cannot apply. Enrolment requires the degree.
Full eligibility, including the enrolment question →
What the form asks for
- Enrolment number and State Bar Council, exactly as on your certificate
- Degree details and year of passing
- A photograph and signature in the sizes the portal specifies
- Your choice of examination language — this cannot usually be changed later
- Preferred examination centre, allotted subject to availability
Mistakes that cost people an attempt
- Enrolment number entered with the wrong State prefix. Copy it character for character.
- Paying the fee but not completing the final submission — the payment alone is not an application.
- Choosing a language on impulse. The paper is bilingual in most centres; pick the one you actually read law in.
- Leaving it to the last day. The portal is busiest then and extensions are not guaranteed.
