How to prepare for AIBE 22
AIBE is not a memory test. It permits bare acts and bans notes, so the paper measures how fast you find a provision under a 2:06 per-question budget. That changes what preparation should look like.
1. Study in order of marks, not interest
The top four subjects carry 38 of 100 marks between them. The bottom five carry 10. If time is short, that ratio is the whole plan.

2. Tab your bare acts, then practise with them
Blank tabs only — anything written on a tab can get the book confiscated at the gate. Colour-code by chapter and memorise the key rather than writing it. Then practise timed, with the tabbed book in front of you; tabs you have never used under pressure are decoration.

3. Learn the 2023 renumbering both ways
The BNS, BNSS and BSA replaced the IPC, CrPC and Evidence Act and renumbered most of criminal law. Questions can cite either. Free converters: IPC→BNS, CrPC→BNSS, Evidence→BSA.
4. Answer every question
There is no negative marking. A blank and a wrong guess score identically, so a blank is a pure loss. Guess everything you cannot find in time.
